There are some children at God Cares School who are orphaned or do not live close enough to allow them to attend the school. Pastor Dongo and his wife, Florence, have made it possible for some of the children to actually live at the school in dormitory rooms. These children spend much of their school year at God Cares School and are well fed and taken care of. There are special adult caregivers who are given charge over them after school hours, and the children are loved and taught to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.
Despite their difficult circumstances, these children are very happy and are at the heartbeat of God Cares School. Obviously, it requires more money to support these children, for their school and daily life needs. For $35 a month, you can cover all of a child’s living expenses…. or you can choose to cover both residential and educational costs for $70 a month.
Some of these children already have an educational sponsor, but have need of a residential sponsor. These are two separate needs and represent two separate sponsorships most of the time. This is the only circumstance in which a child may have two sponsors.
