In the summer of 2011, ten Host Families had their lives changed forever when they said “YES” to God’s call to host a child or chaperone from Uganda. We are currently working on our 2nd Summer Uganda Awareness Tour …Journey Buyamba. If you can’t go to Uganda, this is your opportunity to bring Uganda here. A group of children from God Cares School ranging in age from 8-19 and 2 chaperones are planning to come in 2013 to Southern California and the Dallas Texas areas for 2-3 weeks for a cultural summer tour from mid July to early August. If your church community is interested in hosting these children for a performance tour in your church small group, or school community, please contact us at (805)558-0089.
The primary focus of this tour is to bring awareness to Buyamba Ministry, God Cares School, and promote Child Sponsorships through personal interaction and child performances from God Cares School. If you are not interested in hosting, there are many ways you can be involved.
