Sponsor A Child
Together we can make a difference ... one child at a time.
Buyamba, a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, was founded in the U.S. in 1999, to support the Dongos’ efforts with Buyamba Orphan Outreach in Uganda. Buyamba supported them through a child sponsorship program and provision of needed resources. As a result, God Cares Nursery and Primary School opened in 2002 with 97 children, in the basement of the church where The Dongo family continues to serve. Currently, Buyamba financially supports the education and care of over 1800 children through our sponsorship programs.
No one can advance economically without an education. Nowhere is that more true than in Uganda. For just $35 a month, you can make the difference in a child’s life today. The money will go directly to your child. Your pledge will cover all of your child’s basic needs, which includes: tuition, food, uniforms, books and supplies. You will also have the opportunity to form a relationship with your child. Many sponsors write letters to their children and some have even had the opportunity to go and visit their sponsored children.
With God’s blessing and your sponsorship, Uganda Buyamba Orphan Outreach will reach its goal of providing spiritual, physical, educational, and emotional care for every child, ensuring that they grow up with the opportunity to have an impact on their country, first as spiritual leaders, and second, as responsible productive citizens of Uganda. Please join us today in raising the next generation for Christ.
Sponsorship's are only $35 a month.
Jacob, his two siblings, and 13 other family members live together in a nearby village. Jacob and his siblings were identified by our social workers two years ago as needy children. None of them were going to school and the family was very poor. Thankfully, now all of them are in school and doing well! They are all attending school AND boarding at the school to ensure they are well taken care of. Today, Jacob is looking for a sponsor to cover his boarding fees. Your sponsorship would ensure Jacob can continue living at the school, receive regular meals, fresh water, and have access to a school nurse.
To empower the orphaned and needy children of Uganda to impact their nation for Christ.
To offer love, hope and a future through education and discipleship ... one child at a time.
