Volunteer Opportunities

Buyamba Uganda is located in Thousand Oaks, CA.  Our office is staffed Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm PST. If you come by and visit you'll likely meet Julie Dimas and Melissa Carlson, as well as whomever is volunteering that day.

Our organization is largely held up by volunteers and we're always looking for who God is calling in next! No one is too young or too old to volunteer at Buyamba!

Most of our volunteers come to the office at least once a week, others come two times a week. The majority of our volunteers have responsibility over a specific area such as phone calling, database entry, or donor relations and have a clear role so that they can take ownership of their work. Those who are looking for a one time volunteer opportunity should consider joining us for a newsletter stuffing which takes place the second Saturday of each month.

-Donor and Sponsor Assistance ... Making phone calls and helping with mailings

-Leadership Training
-Volunteer Management
