Mission Team Travel Information:
Buyamba welcomes all teams who are interested in serving on a short-term missions visit to God Cares Primary and Secondary Schools. You can take the next step of involvement in this ministry by joining us to serve the orphans and needy children at God Cares in Kampala, Uganda. The Dongo family looks forward to hosting any team that wants to travel to Uganda. They appreciate your generous help and labor of love and would like to assure you of Uganda’s government stability. However, travel to Africa does require some preparation. Our U.S. office offers full support in answering the myriads of questions that teams have when considering a mission to Uganda; from questions on travel information and immunizations to food and lodging and many other pertinent bits of information. Contact our office today to find out more information. The Buyamba office can also discuss in-person team briefings, when possible, or one of our representatives can do so via telephone conference. For your convenience, we have compiled a "Mission Team Travel Information" handout in a .pdf format, which covers detailed information, tips and FAQ’s to assist team leaders in preparing your teams for travel and as you answer God’s call to His Great Commission. Joining the Buyamba Annual Short-Term Mission Trip
|
If you, your family, or your church leaders are interested in going on a trip to Uganda and are not ready to go on your own we can make that happen. Buyamba hosts two ministry trips a year (scheduled in February and June or July). This trip is available to anyone in the United States. Please contact Julie Dimas at [email protected].

Cross Timbers Team 2017

In July of 2017, Craig Hardy, President of ACI International, and his family traveled with Buyamba to Uganda to hold a school wide Soccer Clinic. Thanks to all who supported the efforts of the soccer clinic, The Hardy Family and the Buyamba Team were able to run practice drills, scrimmages, and speak hope and encouragement to all.

A team of high school students visited God Cares school to love on the kids. They performed worship and teachings in classrooms at the primary school. They also visited the homes of our students. |
