Children love Christmas wherever they live and whatever their circumstances. The Buyamba Outreach Team repeatedly hears a constant question from the students in the villages and slums: "Will there be any Christmas baskets this year?" (Since the school doesn't start until the beginning of next year). The students look forward to this tradition every year, so we have decided to do a Christmas basket delivery in the slums with the regular food outreach delivery in December.

If you have been with the Buyamba Ministries for more than a couple of years, you know this tradition usually happens as the kids leave school for the Christmas break. This is how it will work this year...
We will deliver a Christmas basket full of extra fun food extras to brighten up their holiday. Blessings such as sugar, flour, spices, oil, spaghetti, soda, sweets, and small toys for the little ones with a note of blessing and a message from an individual sponsor or donor if there is one). We are already underway with the makings of a thousand baskets.
We invite you to join in the fun this month by supporting our efforts. You can help with the basket effort for your child or support multiple children who may not have a sponsor. Donate $40 per basket and write a note if you desire with your sponsored child(ren) name on it or just a general gift message of encouragement. The message is optional but encouraged. We will try and bless every child we currently are in contact with during the regular December Food Outreach. Because there is a small number of students in remote villages with their family or work demands, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to bless ALL the children. Still, we can ensure we will do our best and plan for as many baskets as we can in November!
